I began my adventure at Joe's advice.   I purchased the snorkeling equipment based on his recommendations.   Also, while chatting to Mihaela, she commented that the water may be cold.   This gave me the idea of getting a wet suit as well.   It was very beneficial since indeed the water was cold.
And here I am: snorkeling in the Adriatic sea.   I found a wonderland that I couldn't believe that can be reached so easily.   What a great experience it is mingling with fish!!! I mean swimming along and not even thinking of having them on my dish.
Right now I am a strong advocate of snorkeling:  Just do it guys, it's a wonderful experience!
