The old cities of Dalmatia have been marked by the Venician architectural style due to centuries of domination.   We visited Senj in North Dalmatia, briefly stopped at Siebenik, and dedicated several days to Split and Dubrovnick.   Split is in the center of Dalmatia.  It is a big city with old history.   Dubrovnik is in southern Dalmatia, isolated from Croatia by a small coridoir allowing the republique of Bosnia-Herzegovina accessing the Adriatic Sea.
